The fabric and fibres can cope with all kinds of weather, they dry quickly, and its surprising how much they look and feel like cotton. This hammock is very thick, so we recommend you protect it from rain, otherwise the 'Big Fat' hammock will take quite a while to dry out.

This hammock fits perfectly in Tropilex family stands. The spreader bars are made from upmarket Shorea wood (100% FSC).

The 'Arc' hammock stand is an extremely sound design, and can support up to 160 to 200 kg!

The design virtually eliminates play in the hammock stand, so the whole structure feels really solid and safe.

It's easy to assemble, since the only thing you have to do is tighten the bolts. The newly developed powder coating for metal protects this hammock stand from the weather.  We do, however, recommend storing the hammock stand in a dry place if it's not going to be used for a longer period.

The special coating also protects the hammock stand from scratching, and makes any marks left through usage less obvious.

The hammock stand can be adjusted with the supplied chains. This stand is suitable for single hammocks with a total length of 290 to 340 cm.
